Jezero connects two planets

Did you know? The name Jezero connects two planets. Jezero is our village in Bosnia and Herzegovina — and the name of a crater on Mars.

The Martian crater was named after Jezero in Bosnia and Herzegovina. NASA’s Perseverance rover landed there on 18 February 2021 to investigate, among other things, the traces of an ancient lake and river delta.

During a stay on the Pliva, the connection is closer to home: water, mountains and time to look a little more closely.
